Job Title: Quality Inspector - 3rd Shift - $18-22/HR
Responsibilities
  • Conduct visual inspections and tests to verify product conformance.
  • Work with set-ups (first piece inspection), parts in process (line inspection), and finished products (final inspections).
  • Report conformance discrepancies to the Quality Supervisor.
  • Document quality assurance data.
  • Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and interpret blueprints proficiently.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and blueprints.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly bend, twist, and lift up to 15 lbs.
  • Visual inspection skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with fasteners.
  • Experience in quality inspection and quality assurance.
  • Demonstrated initiative, eagerness to learn, and a positive attitude.
  • Ability to work independently and interpret data from precision measuring tools.

Work Environment

This is a 3rd shift position (11pm - 7am), with training on 1st shift for the first two weeks.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sterling Heights, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00
