Job Description

Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Supervisors to supervise our SLPAs Qualified SLPs with a passion to mentor and guide SLPAs can work as Independent Contractor to start supervising up to 4 part-time or 2 full-time (as per the guidelines of California Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board).

What You Will Do

Provide 1-2 hours of direct/indirect virtual supervision per SLPA per week as outlined by CA guidelines. Total commitment depends on the number of SLPAs supervising. Ex; if supervising 4 SLPAs, the commitment would be 5-10 hours per week

Provide direct/indirect support, supervision, and mentoring to SLPAs

Supervision Responsibilities

1:1 meeting with SLPAs weekly to review client progress and training for therapy strategies

Indirect supervision to include documentation review or observations

Document supervision activities

Completion of medical model progress notes/discharge summaries as needed for clients (5-10 minutes per note)

Follow guidelines as set forth by the California Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology & Hearing Aid Dispensers Board

Compensation

1099 | $100 weekly per SLPA Supervised

Qualifications: Qualifications

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Active CA State Speech Language Pathologist License

Active ASHA CCC's

Have updated Professional Development CEUs in supervision before beginning supervision: Initial 6 hours and 3 hours every other 4 years

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an SLP

Experience with Language, Articulation, Fluency, & Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)

Experience with mentoring for Early Intervention (EI) up to young adults in a private practice model is a plus

Experience with Behavior management for telehealth is a plus

Experience with medical model documentation requirements is a plus

Bilingual in Spanish preferred
