The Product Owner is responsible for facilitating, developing, and managing the product roadmap of the firm’s core systems with an emphasis on Salesforce. The product owner will be responsible for defining and prioritizing the product backlog, collaborating closely with stakeholders, including customers, developers, and business analysts, to gather requirements, create user stories, and ensure the successful delivery of product increments that meet customer needs and business goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Define and prioritize the product backlog based on business value and customer needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and create user stories and acceptance criteria, to ensure the successful delivery of product increments.
Work closely with the development team to ensure clear understanding of requirements.
Clearly translate conceptual customer requirements into functional requirements through use of flow charts, tickets, and/or other forms of documenting requirements to be used by the implementation teams.
Conduct regular backlog grooming sessions.
Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Function as the primary point of contact for all product-related queries.
Monitor and report on product performance and user feedback.
Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
Identify process improvements, automation opportunities with a focus on UX and CX.
Define project impact, outcome criteria, and metrics to measure project KPIs.
Work with project managers to follow change control process to ensure scope and/or budget changes are communicated to and approved by appropriate stakeholders.
Deliver engaging, informative, and well-organized presentations.
Collaborate with complex multi-disciplinary teams across all functions of the organization to ensure successful product development and launch.
Complete end user training sessions as necessary, promote adoption across business units.
Perform other duties as assigned.

3+ years of Product Owner experience with 2+ years of Salesforce Sales Cloud experience
Ability to think strategically and creatively: analyze, synthesize, recommend, and take actions.
Full understanding and experience with the Product, Application and Project Management Life Cycle.
Experience in the mortgage industry
Adapts to change easily in a fast-paced work environment.
Takes initiative with a clear business purpose in mind.
Must be able to work successfully under pressure, and effectively manage time and workload.
Entrepreneurial spirit to help us shape the company and our growth initiatives.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Advanced knowledge of Product and application lifecycles
Strong verbal and written communication skills with exceptional follow-through abilities.
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, Project Management, and other relevant open-source software.
Ability and desire to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
