Senior Program Manager

to join our Team. The selected candidate will lead a diverse team of professionals supporting the Program Executive Office, Unmanned Aviation and Strike Weapons PEO (U&W) logistics efforts for Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR). The role involves collaboration with Navy Fleets, OPNAV requirements offices, and the PEO acquisition community to develop continuous improvement strategies as the Naval Ordnance Enterprise (ORDENT) evolves. The Senior Program Manager will support ORDENT in establishing cohesive governance and accountability across the naval ordnance environment, providing data-driven analyses of alternatives for approval to ORDENT leadership. Role and Responsibilities: Serve as the primary interface and point of contact with Government program authorities on logistical program/project/issues. Oversee contractor execution of contract requirements. Manage multi-task contracts and subcontracts of various types and complexity. Lead the initiation, development, and establishment of new Courses of Action (COA) efforts in support of PEO(U&W) weapons systems. Develop standardized readiness analyses based on comprehensive data and information gathering. Communicate significant issues identifying root causes of readiness gaps and/or cost inefficiencies for leadership review and action. Effectively communicate ORDENT activities and accomplishments to both internal and external stakeholders. Develop strategic strategies and workstreams for increased weapon system support for US PEO(U&W) weapons initiatives. Oversee project operations by developing procedures and monitoring progress. Build and maintain U.S. and International relationships to expand KBR’s position within the Global Defense Eco-System. Identify issues with necessary background information and potential sustainment solutions. Analyze strategies and identify USG weapon initiatives partnering opportunities. Manage acquisition and employment of program/project resources and control financial and administrative aspects of the program/project. Participate in company bid and proposal activities. Assist in milestone planning, tracking, scheduling, and decision documentation preparation. Assist in performing a range of program management activities. Basic Qualifications: BS/BA in Engineering or Business with at least 10 years of directly related experience. Advanced Degrees preferred. Experience must include at least 5 years of functional or program management experience. Must be able to coordinate and facilitate ORDENT meetings with Tiers levels 2 and 3 members. Experience must include at least 10 years of professional experience in Defense acquisition and three years in support of Navy Acquisition management. Must have experience with aircraft systems, hardware and software, configuration control, test and evaluation, systems integration, and systems supportability. Must have comprehensive knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures and the requirements of the DoD 5000 series. Must be able to work with large and diverse teams and effectively provide guidance in all areas of contracted effort. Must have an active top-secret level security clearance. Preferred Qualifications: MS Degree in Engineering or Business. 15 years of experience with senior-level sponsors from the DoN munitions community. Experience in areas specific to munitions including Maintenance Planning, Inventory Data Integrity, Navy Munitions Requirements Process Optimization, and International Storage Opportunities. Scheduled Weekly Hours:

40 hours/week Compensation:
