Applies extensive knowledge as a research professional with an in-depth understanding of statistical and/or other analysis techniques designed to support research projects of broad scope and complexity. May function as a team lead.
The responsibilities of the Research Data Analyst 4 will be to provide coordination, oversight, and help shape the agenda for implementation science informed global health projects in tuberculosis (TB) prevention and care. Activities typical for this role include study design and creation of analysis plans, developing and reviewing data collection instruments, collecting and organizing quantitative and qualitative data with collaborating centers and staff, training project staff to collect quantitative and qualitative data, overseeing data management in Research Electronic Data Capture (REDCap) or another similar program, and coordinating and moderating stakeholder and community meetings. The analyst will be responsible for leading the design and approach to data collection, data management, and statistical analysis and will be expected to lead implementation of those activities in partnership with statisticians or other methodologists as needed. The analyst will present the strategy and results to the Principal Investigator and will be responsible for refining as needed based on input.

- This USAID-funded project provides technical support related to implementation science methods and operational research across the TB care pathway, including prevention, diagnosis, treatment, policy formulation and dissemination, and capacity building. Implementation Science Accelerator - UCSF IGHS
- In support of a partnership with the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO), UCSF IGHS provides technical consultation related to dissemination and implementation science for various PAHO projects across a range of health priority areas. Global Framework to Enhance Demand, Access, and Seeking of TB-related Healthcare Services (TB-DASH)
- This J&J Global funded project seeks to create a community-driven framework rooted in implementation science to improve demand for innovations in TB prevention, diagnosis, and treatment among people affected and front-line healthcare workers. The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
