Formulate and execute innovative sales strategies aimed at increasing market share and surpassing annual growth objectives. Collaborate effectively with local General Managers (GMs) to ensure that sales initiatives are in line with operational goals, resulting in seamless execution and substantial outcomes. Assess critical sales metrics and trends to enhance team performance, ensuring that targets are consistently met or exceeded. Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients and partners within the building materials industry. Promote accountability within the sales team, focusing on achieving performance targets that drive growth and profitability. Introduce transformative leadership and creative strategies to an established team, empowering them to reach new levels of success.
Required Skills: Proven executive leadership experience in sales, ideally as a VP of Sales or Senior Sales Leader, with a background in building materials, manufacturing, or similarly relevant fields. A strategic and analytical thinker capable of swiftly understanding industry dynamics and implementing best practices for enhanced performance. Proficient in navigating a matrix leadership structure, collaborating with local GMs while concentrating on sales strategies and performance metrics. A data-informed leader with a demonstrated track record of leveraging performance metrics to fuel growth and accountability. An outstanding communicator who can inspire, motivate, and guide a diverse, geographically dispersed sales team towards achieving their objectives. Willingness to relocate or residing in the SeaTac, WA area.
Qualifications: Significant experience in sales leadership roles, preferably within the building materials, manufacturing, or comparable industries. Familiarity with operating in a matrix environment, collaborating effectively with local GMs while emphasizing sales strategy and metrics. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred.
