Account Manager – Crane & Rigging
Pontiac, Michigan

This is an onsite position that requires the selected candidate to be onsite 5 days per week in Pontiac, Michigan.

Position Summary We are seeking an Account Manager to promote and sell our industrial services to a wide range of potential clients. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, identifying client needs, and providing tailored industrial solutions. Success in this position will be measured by meeting or exceeding sales targets while effectively representing our brand and expanding market presence.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and leverage relationships with existing and new clients across diverse industries. Actively pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's market reach.
Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals, presentations, and tailored solutions that meet client needs.
Identify target markets, develop strategies to engage new clients, and craft proposals that showcase the company's offerings.
Schedule meetings, conduct presentations, and negotiate contracts to secure new business. Ensure contracts meet both company profitability goals and client expectations.
Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products or services to existing clients. Implement strategies to increase revenue and deepen client relationships.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field , or equivalent industry experience.
Proven track record of success in sales with 3-5 years of experience in a sales role or a related field such as industrial equipment, technical sales, industrial construction services, or industrial services.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to establish rapport and build long-term relationships with clients.
Results-oriented, with a focus on achieving sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and within a team.
Willingness to travel locally and regionally (75-85%).
Qualifications
Experience in industrial services, machinery moving, construction, or related fields is a plus.
Background in crane sales, operation, or rigging is highly desirable but not required.
