Role: Network Security Architect

Location: Downey CA - 100% Remote (need to come onsite if required)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Rate: $70-$80/hr, DOE

Strong experience with Routing & Switching, Data Center Fabric/Cisco ACI Management. • Hands-on experience in Hybrid Cloud networking with on-prem, AWS, Azure, and GCP, including Megaport and BGP network design & implementation. • Proven expertise in migrating from Cisco to Palo Alto firewalls. • Solid understanding of network security practices and policies. Strong BGP Protocols and understanding Understanding designing failover architecture.

Minimum five years of experience in network security engineering, specifically with data center networking and cloud architecture. • Demonstrated at least one year of experience in firewall migrations from Cisco to Palo Alto. • One year experience working independently and as part of a team in a remote environment. • One year working within multiple cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP

We will require that the candidate is local within Los Angeles County as the need to come into the office will be needed during network changes We will issue a County Laptop for the nature of the work and the candidate must return the device after their contract is completed. The candidate must be willing to work overtime and will need to participate in a on-call rotation.
