Description The Digital Modernization Sector at Leidos is looking for a dedicated Tier II Configuration Network Technician to enhance our customers' computer data communications systems. This role involves providing design specifications, conducting testing and inspections of computer networks, planning and implementing upgrades, as well as analyzing, organizing, and troubleshooting hardware and software solutions through network modeling. This is an outstanding opportunity to grow within AT&T's key engineering teams working on innovative and challenging technologies. The responsibilities of the Tier II Configuration Network Technician include: Assist in the installation and upkeep of client LAN/WAN devices. Maintain detailed records of system components (hardware and software) ensuring accuracy in physical location and connectivity. Address and resolve incident tickets efficiently. Ensure consistency in system performance, functions, and attributes aligned with design requirements. Draft and implement standard network change requests. Collaborate with external stakeholders on Configuration Management aspects as required. Oversee network operations, maintenance, repairs, or upgrades, understanding the CISCO/Juniper RMA processes. Possess Layer 1 and Layer 2 network experience (CAT5, SM/MM Fiber, Serial cables, SFP). Establish policies for documenting and modifying baseline project configuration items. Configure and troubleshoot Layer 2 switching including VLANs, Port Security, and Thin Configs. Utilize advanced network analysis tools to pinpoint and rectify network issues while maintaining accurate logs. Familiarity with Layer 3 protocols such as OSPF, BGP, VRRP, HSRP, MPLS, LSP, and GRE is beneficial. Experience with Visio, ServiceNow, and Confluence is also desirable. Support network operations from a Configuration Management perspective across all components including hardware, system software, and applications. Knowledge of Cisco IOS and Juniper JUNOS OS and experience with updating network equipment software is essential. Ensure network configuration baselines comply with DISA STIG guidelines, providing feedback to Network Engineers. Document and update baseline network configuration items effectively. Maintain historical Configuration Management records using approved shared databases. Assist the Configuration Management Board with meeting scheduling, agenda development, and database management for board-related data. Provide drawing, diagramming, and network mapping support to the Configuration Management team. Manage Configuration Management support for the deployment of IT-IA-IM software to various environments (development, test, staging, and production). Leverage advanced network analysis tools to develop network maps for enterprise-level services. Assist the Configuration Control Board (CCB) by scheduling meetings, creating agendas, and managing related database entries for Configuration Management items. Develop, implement, and maintain network drawing standards that meet all contract requirements. Ensure final designs adhere to quality standards and regulations. This role may include up to 10% COMSEC responsibilities. The tools utilized in Network Management and Configuration Management consist of: Network Automation (NA) Network Node Manager (NNM) Riverbed Microsoft Visio ServiceNow Requirements Required Clearance: TS/SCI with Poly. Must have 10 years of relevant experience, which can include a combination of education and work history at various levels (e.g., Doctorate with 3 years, Master’s with 4 years, Bachelor’s with 6 years, Associate’s with 8 years, or HS diploma with 10 years). Compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level 2 certification is required. This role may involve a work location that is subject to change based on business needs. Pay Range:

$72,150.00 - $130,425.00 Note: The Leidos pay range is a general guide and not a guarantee of compensation. Additional factors considered include job responsibilities, education, and experience.
