We provide a broad spectrum of information technology and ancillary services to government and commercial customers. We seek a remote Scrum Master to join us in support of a U.S. Customer and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Information and Technology (OIT) program.
Tasks include:
In depth knowledge of the scrum framework, roles, rituals, and processes and ability to communicate these to stakeholders and adhere to Scrum framework. Coaching/guidance skills to mentor new team members on Agile/Scrum. Communication and facilitation skills; responsible for running the Scrum ceremonies and daily scrum calls. Conflict resolution skills. Manage/groom the product backlog. Conduct Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. Work closely with product owners to ensure their priorities are being implemented in upcoming sprints. Establish product planning in a complex environment with many dependencies and stakeholders. Provide training/guidance on scrum adoption/refinement as necessary. Remove blockers for the team. Support release planning as needed. Must have excellent communication skills, problem solving skills, and organizational skills. Please note that the duties listed above are not exhaustive, and the successful candidate may be required to perform additional tasks as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of five (5) years' experience of management consulting experience in a federal space is required. Five (5) years' experience in a Scrum Master capacity is required. CSM Certification or Agile scrum certification. Education: Bachelor's degree in a related field. Active DHS Clearance required. Must be a US citizen.
