Vice President of Operations

Position Overview:
The Vice President of Operations will lead and oversee the manufacturing operations across multiple facilities, managing up to 300 employees. This role requires a strategic leader who can optimize processes, drive efficiencies, and ensure the highest levels of productivity and quality. The VP of Operations will be a key member of the executive team, contributing to the company’s growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute operational strategies to achieve company goals, focusing on efficiency, cost control, and quality assurance.
Lead and manage day-to-day operations across multiple manufacturing facilities, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Oversee and mentor plant managers and department leaders to foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Analyze and optimize production workflows, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and environmental standards across all locations.
Drive initiatives to meet or exceed customer expectations in terms of delivery, quality, and service.
Manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics, reporting directly to the CEO or President.
Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles and other operational best practices.
Lead talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies for a diverse workforce.
Foster collaboration and communication across departments to achieve organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations leadership, with multi-location oversight.
Proven track record of managing teams of 200+ employees, delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in operational software and tools, such as ERP systems.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, drive cost savings, and achieve financial targets.
