In this position, your work will have a profound impact on the country’s most critical role – protecting our national security. KBR is seeking a Nuclear Command, Control, and Communications (NC3) Subject Matter Expert to support our USSTRATCOM NC3 Enterprise Center (NEC) customer. Our customer serves as principal enterprise systems engineering, enterprise architecture, and technical authority for the Nuclear C3 Enterprise within DoD and oversees systems engineering and integration for the entire National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC) infrastructure. The NEC SE&I Division activities span the complex systems, programs, and capabilities that compose the NC3 enterprise. You will be a part of a major new design opportunity that will focus on engineering, analysis, and documentation of current and objective Enterprise Architectures. This will involve architecture development/trade-offs for acquisition strategy decisions to evolve the Nuclear C3 System into a broader Strategic C3/National Leadership Command Capability (NLCC). Standard Qualifications: Required: Active TS/SCI clearance Experience using Nuclear C3 operational procedures currently used with the strategic nuclear capable forces in support of presidential and joint staff nuclear communications. Experience conducting architecture/performance trade-off analysis and engineering designs of Nuclear C3 systems. Knowledge of digital engineering tasks related to cloud migration for NC3 modeling environments and analysis tools. Assist government technical leads with the implementation of a cloud-based architecture integrating multiple software applications. Demonstrated knowledge and experience regarding Nuclear C3 and overall Nuclear C3 requirements, operations, and procedures. Understanding of, and experience with, operations and technical characteristics of Nuclear C3 systems. Knowledge of Nuclear C3 systems and operational and analytical experience in nuclear/strategic systems. Participate on the technical design team for future presidential senior leadership and COOP/COG architecture development efforts. Develop recommendations concerning continuation, modification, or elimination of current national leader and nuclear C3 system enhancement plans. Detailed understanding of national policy, DoD/Joint Staff guidance, and technical performance criteria requirements regarding Nuclear C3 operations. Collaborate with NC3 architecture teams to provide input to capture user requirements and use cases for improvement of the NC3 Digital Mission Engineering Environment (NDMEE). Produce Engineering analysis reports that recommend to SE&I logical next steps of action based on documented gaps, studies, roadmaps, plans, and solution sets. Master’s degree in Engineering, Math, or Computer Science plus 10+ years’ experience. Knowledge of nuclear C3 systems and operational and analytical experience in nuclear/strategic systems. Desired: Ability to apply enterprise architecture concepts to specific secure and survivable communications development tasks. Expertise in the areas of DoD acquisition/requirements processes, systems analysis, engineering, and nuclear weapons effects regarding communications within the Nuclear C3 system. Experience working with senior Nuclear C3 community stakeholders. Scheduled Weekly Hours:
