is looking for a
Global Store Design Director. How do you fit in? The Global Store Design Director will oversee and lead the execution of all store design activities, including architecture and fixture planning, for new stores, existing locations, relocations, remodels, and special projects across company-owned and international partnership stores. This role ensures that all Fabletics retail stores, pop-ups, and activations are designed and maintained with a focus on the needs of our VIP Members and store teams, while adhering to current brand standards. Success in this position hinges on cultivating and sustaining strong, collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including Visual Merchandising, Real Estate, Merchandising, IT, Marketing, Store Operations, as well as external partners and vendors. The Global Store Design Director will report to Senior Director, Retail Design & Construction. What you will do: Strategic Leadership & Innovation Partner with leadership to develop and execute multi-year store development strategies aligned with brand goals. Lead creative retail design solutions, advocating concepts to internal and external stakeholders. Project Management & Execution Oversee store design projects, ensuring timely, on-budget delivery of concepts through collaboration with internal teams and external partners. Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while maintaining adherence to ADA and building codes. Global Design Expertise Train and onboard international distribution and wholesale partners on store and fixture design processes. Review and approve layouts for all standalone stores, shop-in-shops, and expansions. Process & Prototype Optimization Streamline store design processes, create best practices, and implement communication strategies for field teams. Maintain and improve prototype floor and fixture plans to support evolving design and merchandising needs. Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support Act as a liaison between merchandising and design to align product vision with physical spaces. Work closely with Real Estate, architects, and other teams to prepare for new stores, remodels, and relocations. Site & Documentation Oversight Conduct site inspections, prototype reviews, and document audits to ensure consistency and accuracy. Vendor & Team Development Mentor vendors and consultants while fostering strong partnerships. Customer-Centric Solutions Deliver innovative design strategies that enhance customer experience, maximize space, and drive sales growth. What you can bring: 10+ years of experience at the management level with a national retail chain responsible for construction/store/space/merchandise planning. 10+ years of experience with broad knowledge of building construction and building systems (MEP). 10+ years of experience with project management and permitting knowledge/experience required. Must have some knowledge and familiarity with AIA contracts. Knowledge of AutoCAD, 3D rendering tools and Revit. Demonstrated mastery level knowledge of architecture, interior design or related field, with advanced education/degree and extensive prior relevant experience. $133,100-$150,000 . The range provided includes the base salary that Fabletics expects to pay for the role.
