Role Overview:

The Technology Program Manager will lead the configuration, development, and launch of annuity products on digital platforms. This role requires strong analytical skills, project management expertise, and the ability to drive initiatives effectively. While experience with launching financial or compliance-related updates on digital platforms is preferred, it is not mandatory. The role combines traditional project/program management with support for agile development practices. This position requires onsite presence three days a week in Durham, NC.

Responsibilities:

Program Management:

Plan, execute, and deliver annuity product launches and compliance updates on digital platforms.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with product development, compliance, engineering, and testing teams to define roadmaps and manage dependencies.

Release Planning and Management:

Oversee the development and enhancement of annuity products, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory standards.

Digital Compliance Delivery:

Translate regulatory updates into technical requirements and coordinate timely project delivery.

Stakeholder Communication:

Act as the primary contact for stakeholders, providing updates on project status, risks, and dependencies.

Process Improvement:

Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and implement best practices.

Risk Management:

Anticipate and mitigate risks to ensure successful project outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).

5+ years of experience in program or project management, in financial services or insurance.

Experience delivering financial products on digital platforms is preferred.

Demonstrated success in managing complex projects from initiation to launch.

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite.

PMP, Agile, or similar project management certification is highly desirable.
