Applied Research Solutions is seeking a full-time Senior Cloud Architect, located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The Architect’s primary function will be to design the development and operations of the Program Cloud Development Environment.

Responsibilities include:

Architect a cloud-based development environment for a large program

Design and document best practices for DevSecOps actions

Utilize USAF PlatformOne DevSecOps guidelines and tools when applicable

Develop DevSecOps tools and techniques as necessary to construct an automated and secure DevSecOps pipeline

Ensures cybersecurity functions, performance, and characteristics are incorporated into the weapon system and validated IAW DOD and USAF policy

Automate deployment and maintenance of solutions across multiple cloud instances using Terraform or other selected Infrastructure as Code tooling

Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Technical experience required:

Must be a US citizen

15+ years of experience with System Architecture and Engineering

5+ years of experience with Docker and container-based technologies

5+ years of experience with Cloud technologies

Familiarity with RMF/DIACAP accreditation process

Strong foundation in containers, algorithms, and software application design

TS/SCI Clearance
