The Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) post-training team is looking for a passionate, talented, and inventive ML Engineer with a strong machine learning background to lead the development of industry-leading technology.
As a Senior ML Engineer within the AGI team, you will be responsible for leading the development of novel algorithms and techniques to advance the state of Large Language Model (LLM) training. You will leverage Amazon's heterogeneous data sources and large-scale computing resources to accelerate the development of multimodal Large Language Models and Generative Artificial Intelligence solutions. You will collaborate closely with the Applied Scientists on LLM fine-tuning experiments and prototypes to build automated training workflows.

Will work in an Agile/Scrum environment to deliver high-quality software against aggressive schedules.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience. 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience. 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems experience. Experience as a mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience. Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
