Job Title: Facilities Associate
Onsite Role The purpose of this position is to provide daily support for the Operations department. Perform a wide variety of office services and general lab support. This includes day-to-day facility operations and administrative services (e.g., mailroom, meeting set ups, relocation/move support, glass wash, lab support etc.). Physical demands associated with this position may include walking, lifting & carrying weighted materials (up to 50 lbs.). KEY DUTIES:
Office & Lab Support
Meeting and conference support, having ability to set up conference rooms as to design. Understanding the planning of events due to size and capacity restrictions. Assist and make recommendations for furniture configurations. Physical room set ups and break downs, including but not limited to, furniture reconfigurations (moving tables and chairs), whiteboards / easels, catering set up, etc. Maintain inventory and stock of office and kitchen supplies. Assist with watering plants and paper shredding services. Supervise onsite vendors. Collection, washing, autoclaving of glassware and materials for laboratory areas. Performs various mailroom functions. Assist the site operations department as needed. SKILLS/ABILITIES:
Routine physical lifting up to 50lbs. Positive attitude. Dependable, dedicated, and able to use discretion. Ability to prioritize and multitask. Great Customer Service skills. Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across departments. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate's Degree+ preferred. Highly skilled in Microsoft Office or equivalent suite. Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related industry. Lab experience preferred.
