Enter data into a computer system, complete and maintain reports, and order and receive supplies. Fold letters and circulars and insert into envelopes using equipment. Maintain procedures and processes in conjunction with USPS regulations. Maintain envelope, paper, and toner inventory. Assist with sorting mail according to destination and type and weighs mail to determine correct mail type and apply postage. Act as back up to the Mail Clerk. Assist other county offices with document scanning and filing as time permits. Status: Full-time, non-exempt, benefited Working hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, Monday-Friday. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and a minimum of one year of related clerical or customer service experience. Must have a valid drivers license with an insurable driving record. Ability to perform extensive walking and lifting up to 50lbs. Position requires the ability to pass an FBI fingerprint background check. Preferred Skills: Ability to type 35 wpm. Experience with MS Office Suite. Experience using an inserting and postage machine. Hourly Range: $15.18 - $16.12 per hour. Commensurate with experience.
