Overview

As Business Analytics Manager, you will work closely with the CQ Partners Leadership Team and report directly to the SVP of Operations. Your focus will be on providing robust, forward-thinking analytical insights to support decision-making across sales, marketing, IT, and operational functions. You will play a key role in creating both predictive and retrospective reporting, helping the team make data-driven decisions in a competitive and rapidly evolving market.

This role will evaluate current sales performance for CQ customers and partner with Account Managers to drive optimal business performance.

This role requires strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and other Demant business units and departments and proficiency in systems such as Power BI and Excel, with a strong understanding of CRM and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

Strategic Insights and Analytics

    Understand market dynamics, provide actionable insights, and collaborate with leadership to refine commercial strategies.
  • Develop predictive and retrospective reporting to highlight performance trends and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Lead key initiatives such as market sizing, forecasting, and competitive analysis to support budget and strategic planning.
  • Present sales, market, and operational data to senior management, contributing to executive-level decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine data processes and drive automation for improved efficiency.

Operational and Business Support

  • Provide day-to-day analytical support for sales and marketing teams, including sales forecast and performance tracking.
  • Partner with the IT and Business Intelligence team to access and influence data, deriving insights from various sources.
  • Support Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews by preparing analytics and presentation decks for leadership discussions.
  • Use analytical data to offer customers tailored solutions to their business challenges including but not limited to cost saving recommendations, provider utilization and per-person productivity reporting, and All the Right Things best practices.
  • Review customer goals and develop reporting based on run-rates and re-forecasting. Leverage in-depth industry knowledge to draw relevant insights and make recommendations based on reporting. Deliver results and recommendations to customers directly through phone, virtual meetings, or in-person.
  • Communicate with Account Managers and customers directly to better understand what goals they aim to accomplish and identify CQ services and strategies that can help them meet these objectives.

Process Improvement and Leadership

  • Continuously iterate on data and analytics processes to enhance automation and accuracy.
  • Assist in developing and implementing territory management strategies and sales plans.
  • Identify gaps and opportunities by analyzing external market trends and internal data.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, ideally within a sales or commercial function.
  • Expertise in Excel; knowledge of Power BI, SQL Server, Data Warehouses, Sage 500 ERP and Infor CRM systems, is a plus.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills with the ability to condense complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to work with senior stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Curious and innovative mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and solution-driven thinking.
