Senior Accountant
  Our client, a rapidly growing financial services firm located in Austin, TX, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their dynamic finance and accounting team. This role is essential for managing general ledgers across multiple entities, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and contributing to key financial analysis projects. The position offers a collaborative environment with ample opportunities for career advancement. While this position is primarily on-site, employees are encouraged to come into the office three or more days a week.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the general ledgers for multiple entities.
• Review and oversee the work of the AP Clerk to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare and post journal entries, and conduct account reconciliations.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of departmental policies and procedures.
• Support financial analysis projects, including updating underwriting models and proformas.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2-5 years of relevant experience in accounting or finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with intermediate Excel skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Compensation: Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure: $80K - $85K per year.
