What you'll do
The Senior Software Engineer will design and develop software solutions that automate compliance and audit processes. This role involves deep technical challenges and the opportunity to work with cross-functional teams to influence our overall strategy and drive innovation in compliance automation.
This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Sr. Manager, Systems. Engineering.
Responsibility Develop tools and flows to automate and optimize software deployment and testing, across cloud and on-premise infrastructure, especially in Azure Deploy, automate, and monitor applications/services using Terraform, ADO Pipeline, monitoring, and logging tools, and other DevOps/Automation technologies Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient, secure solutions and automation tools that meet business needs Ensure software quality and reliability by following best practices and standards Collaborate with compliance and security teams, both internal and external, to stay current with regulatory standards and proactively develop solutions to accommodate new requirements Understand the end-to-end flows used by customers to access Docusign services and provide critical guidance on security and compliance conformance Participate in a rotating on-call schedule Job Designation
Hybrid:
Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation)

What you bring
Basic
Bachelor's degree or Equivalent Experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related studies 5+ years of experience in Cloud/On-Prem DevOps Engineering, ideally in an Azure environment Experience with CI/CD tools, such as Github, Jenkins, Gitlab. Experience in one or more programming languages, such as Python, Powershell Experience with Terraform and configuration management and deployment automation tools, such as Terraform, Ansible Experience with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Registry Experience in production deployment: scaling, performance, monitoring, security and networking Experience working with monitoring and logging tools, such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana Must be capable of obtaining and maintaining certification to access IL4 regulated systems Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder Experience with the underlying infrastructure of systems at scale, including load balancing, cloud, DNS, GTM environments, and certificate infrastructure Experience with risk management principles and the ability to assess and mitigate compliance risks Demonstrable knowledge of compliance frameworks, including PCI, SOC, ISO, FedRamp, and IL4 Preferred
Knowledge of data governance frameworks and practices, including data classification and handling Wage Transparency
Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations:
Washington, New Jersey and New York (including NYC metro area): $145,800 - $214,350 base salary
This role is also eligible for the following:
Bonus: Sales personnel are eligible for variable incentive pay dependent on their achievement of pre-established sales goals. Non-Sales roles are eligible for a company bonus plan, which is calculated as a percentage of eligible wages and dependent on company performance. Stock: This role is eligible to receive Restricted Stock Units (RSUs). Global benefits provide options for the following:
