Business Analyst
with a strong background in process analysis, data analysis, documentation, testing, quality assurance, strategic planning, and change management. The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in analyzing business processes, providing data-driven insights, and supporting the successful delivery of business solutions. This role requires excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business goals with IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities: Analyze and map current business processes to identify inefficiencies, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Work closely with business stakeholders to understand business needs, objectives, and challenges. Recommend process improvements and optimize workflows to increase operational efficiency. Support process redesign initiatives by ensuring alignment with organizational goals and requirements. Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect, analyze, and interpret data to support business decisions and process improvements. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and business metrics. Conduct root cause analysis and provide actionable insights based on data findings. Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy in reporting. Documentation:
Create detailed business and technical documentation, including business requirements, process flows, and user guides. Maintain comprehensive documentation of business processes, systems, and workflows. Ensure all project-related documentation is clear, accurate, and up-to-date. Document test cases and results, ensuring alignment with business requirements and quality standards. Testing and Quality Assurance:
Develop test plans, test cases, and perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure solutions meet business needs and requirements. Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive testing of systems and applications before deployment. Identify and document defects, track issues, and work with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution. Ensure that all deliverables meet the organization's quality assurance standards and specifications. Change Management:
Support change management initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions for process and system changes. Work closely with stakeholders to understand the impact of changes on business processes and ensure proper communication and training. Assist in developing and implementing change management plans, including stakeholder engagement and communication strategies. Track and measure the success of change initiatives, ensuring business objectives are met. Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. 6+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role, with a focus on process analysis, data analysis, and reporting. Strong knowledge of business analysis techniques, methodologies, and tools (e.g., SWOT, BPMN, UML). Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, SQL) and reporting platforms. Proven ability to document business and technical requirements, process flows, and use cases. Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, including UAT, and familiarity with QA processes. Strong strategic planning and road mapping skills, with the ability to align business and IT goals. Experience in change management processes, including managing stakeholder communication, training, and support. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, or similar project management methodologies is a plus. Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA). Experience with ERP, CRM, or other enterprise systems. Experience in data governance and data quality practices. Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Asana). Change management certification (e.g., Prosci or similar).
