Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager
Location: Austin, TX or Remote
We are looking for a Sr. Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across email, push, SMS, and in-app channels. Your goal will be to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention for our mobile app and VR training product. You bring an advanced marketing automation skill set and are a master at harmonizing channels to efficiently nurture our key customer audiences throughout their journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Strategy and Management: Design, execute, and optimize multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, push notifications) in Customer.io to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention.
- Segmentation & Personalization: Architect of audience segmentation & targeting to create highly personalized marketing communication programs throughout the customer lifecycle.
- Content Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to create compelling copy, visuals, and calls-to-action that align with WIN Reality's brand voice and adhere to channel best practices.
- A/B Testing & Optimization: Continuously test messaging, design, and targeting strategies to improve campaign performance and effectiveness.
- Analytics & Reporting: Lead channel performance reviews, isolating impactful observations to implement actionable improvements. Communicate results to key stakeholders.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to align campaigns with campaign objectives and product releases.
- Compliance Management: Ensure all messaging complies with CAN-SPAM, TCPA, GDPR, and other relevant regulations.
- Experience: 5+ years of lifecycle or CRM marketing experience, preferably in a SaaS or subscription-based company.
- Platform Knowledge: Expertise in marketing automation platforms (Customer.io preferred), with a focus on email, push, SMS, and in-app automation, processes, measurement, and analytics.
- Technical Skillset: Expert knowledge of writing, editing and troubleshooting HTML and CSS required. Liquid language is preferred. SQL experience is a plus.
- Advanced Segmentation: Advanced knowledge of list queries for audience segmentation and dynamic content/personalization creation.
- Data-Driven: Strong understanding of data connectivity and activation across digital channels to drive business performance, with the ability to analyze and communicate effectiveness and ROI.
- Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of Sports Technology: Basic knowledge of baseball/softball is required. Passion for or experience in the sports tech industry is a plus.
- Business Experience: Experience in a start-up-to-scale environment, with previous SaaS experience in both B2B and B2C contexts preferred.
- Collaboration: Excellent communication skills and experience working cross-functionally with diverse teams.
- Adaptability: Thrive in a fast-evolving environment, embracing change and excelling within a start-up growth context.
