Job Description:

The Director of Marketing role at OSJL oversees marketing strategy and execution across all digital and traditional marketing channels including, but not limited to, social media, programmatic display and CTV, email, SMS, radio, and print. This role is also responsible for the success of the OSJL Insider loyalty program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute brand strategy to drive brand awareness, engagement, and following through radio, print, CTV, email, SMS, digital, influencer, and social media channels.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to drive in-store and eCommerce growth. Leverage data analytics, SEO, SEM (Meta, Google, YouTube) and media campaigns to enhance online visibility and increase sales.
  • Oversee and manage content across the Company's various social media channels (i.e., Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram).
  • Create a customer-centric omni experience by championing customer-focused strategies and ensuring rigorous, channel-specific execution. Lead teams to create and implement compelling, customer-centered content that reinforces our brand aspiration and drives engagement.
  • Lead the outreach to OSJL's email subscribers and supervise the growth of the customer database.
  • Oversee OSJL's Insider loyalty program and drive initiatives to enhance program effectiveness, increase engagement, and foster customer loyalty.
  • Set and own KPIs for marketing initiatives, leveraging data analytics to measure campaign success, inform future strategies, and optimize ROI; set the objectives of marketing campaigns and what they mean for our success and growth.
  • Develop and measure key metrics around the business including customer acquisition and retention, conversion rates, engagement rates, and satisfaction rates.
  • Manage associate performance, write performance reviews, and provide coaching and feedback, ensuring associates are supported, have clear growth opportunities and are set-up for success in achieving business results. As needed, delegate work and follow up with team members to confirm timely completion of tasks.
  • Assist with hiring, coaching, and disciplinary actions for team members. Train new team members and act as a mentor to develop new teammates.
  • Oversee and allocate the marketing budget effectively, ensuring to maximize Return On Ad Spend ("ROAS") while also maximizing reach and frequency, taking into account seasonality.
  • Work collaboratively with the Director of Creative, the Director of E-Commerce, and the Director of Communications to ensure that campaigns as well as the overall OSJL Brand are consistently cohesive across all channels.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field is required; MBA, or MS in Marketing is preferred.
  • 7 or more years of multi-channel marketing and media campaign development with a proven track record of using both data and media strategy to optimize ROAS and to drive positive business outcomes is required.
  • 5 or more years of people leader experience with a proven track record of developing, managing and mentoring associates is required.
  • 3 or more years of Loyalty program management experience is required.
  • A clear understanding and working knowledge of programmatic marketing, SEO/SEM, Social Media content strategy, Martech solutions, Google Analytics, Google and Meta ad placement.
  • Demonstrated ability and experience in overseeing a large marketing budget is required.
Work Environment:
  • Work primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety and health hazard
    potential. Sedentary, and frequent near vision use for reading and computer use.
  • Periodic weekend assignments and work outside of normal business hours may be required, depending on the needs of the business.
  • Hybrid: Some work may be completed outside of the Company locations, with at least three (3) days a week in the Corporate Office. The role is responsible for setting up a professional and ergonomically safe work environment and to be available during working hours. The role may also bring their own device(s) to complete all work (e.g., all computer hardware and software, including audio and video capabilities for virtual meetings; and reliable Internet connection with ability to access the Google platform for virtual meetings and applications used for work).
  • Occasional travel including overnight and weekend assignments may be required.
