About The Role

We are seeking a highly strategic, results-driven, and ambitious leader to join our team as Chief of Staff. This role will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, manage day-to-day operations, strategic plans, cross-functional alignment across manufacturing, customer engagement, business development, and team building. The ideal candidate is a blend of strategist, operator, and team builder, with a proven ability to scale operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities

  1. Advising: Providing strategic advice and counsel to the CEO and other senior leaders.
  2. Oversee day-to-day operations: Work with engineering to ensure that operations are efficient and effective.
  3. Customer and Business Development: Build and manage early customer relationships and work on growing the GTM team.
  4. Develop and implement strategic plans: Work with the CEO and other executives to develop strategies that align with the company's goals.
  5. Manage teams: Build and manage teams across various functions, such as finance, marketing, HR, and operations.
  6. Financial Management: Ensure that the company is operating within early-stage startup constraints and support fundraising efforts.
  7. Identify and mitigate risks: Develop and implement risk management strategies.
  8. Build competitive advantage: Think about how to build competitive advantage through operational excellence.
Qualifications And Skills

Required:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  2. Experience leading functions like operations, finance, and talent in other early-stage startups.
  3. Experience directing and organizing multiple departments and teams.
  4. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  5. The ability to complete tasks independently, efficiently, and effectively.
  6. Experience leading and planning strategic initiatives.
  7. Familiarity with energy, hydrogen, or similar markets.
Preferred:

  1. Master's degree in Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
  2. Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control.
