About The Role
We are seeking a highly strategic, results-driven, and ambitious leader to join our team as Chief of Staff. This role will act as a trusted advisor to the CEO, manage day-to-day operations, strategic plans, cross-functional alignment across manufacturing, customer engagement, business development, and team building. The ideal candidate is a blend of strategist, operator, and team builder, with a proven ability to scale operations in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Advising: Providing strategic advice and counsel to the CEO and other senior leaders.
- Oversee day-to-day operations: Work with engineering to ensure that operations are efficient and effective.
- Customer and Business Development: Build and manage early customer relationships and work on growing the GTM team.
- Develop and implement strategic plans: Work with the CEO and other executives to develop strategies that align with the company's goals.
- Manage teams: Build and manage teams across various functions, such as finance, marketing, HR, and operations.
- Financial Management: Ensure that the company is operating within early-stage startup constraints and support fundraising efforts.
- Identify and mitigate risks: Develop and implement risk management strategies.
- Build competitive advantage: Think about how to build competitive advantage through operational excellence.
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Experience leading functions like operations, finance, and talent in other early-stage startups.
- Experience directing and organizing multiple departments and teams.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- The ability to complete tasks independently, efficiently, and effectively.
- Experience leading and planning strategic initiatives.
- Familiarity with energy, hydrogen, or similar markets.
- Master's degree in Operations Management, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical process control.
