Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced

Senior Network Administrator

to oversee and manage our organization's complex network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong concentration in

Dell

technologies, expertise in

Microsoft Office 365 , and proficiency in

Azure

and

AWS cloud services . This individual will also be responsible for ensuring the security and efficiency of our network systems and collaborating with cybersecurity consultants to maintain a robust defense posture.

Key Responsibilities: Network Management :

Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure with a focus on

Cisco

(Meraki) and

Dell

hardware (switches and SonicWALL). Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Implement and manage VLANs, VPNs, firewalls, switches, and routers.

Infrastructure Administration :

Administer and maintain

Microsoft Office 365

environments, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive. Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP services. Previous support and implementation experience with VMWare family of products Experience with Compellent SAN storage arrays and SAN Enterprise manager software Experience with Veeam software for Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Planning

Cloud Services :

Manage and optimize

Azure

and

AWS

cloud environments to support business operations. Ensure seamless integration between on-premises systems and cloud platforms.

Cybersecurity :

Collaborate with cybersecurity consultants to identify and mitigate risks and vulnerabilities. Implement and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and endpoint security measures. Develop and enforce network and data security policies.

Documentation and Reporting :

Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, policies, and procedures. Provide regular reports on network performance, security incidents, and project progress.

Qualifications

Qualifications: Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered. Experience :

Minimum of 7-10 years in network administration or a related role. Proven experience with

Cisco

and

Dell

networking equipment. Strong background in

Microsoft Office 365 ,

Azure , and

AWS

cloud services.

Certifications : Preferred certifications include:

Cisco: CCNA/CCNP Microsoft: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified AWS: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or SysOps Administrator Cybersecurity: CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent

Technical Skills :

Proficiency with network monitoring and management tools. Strong understanding of network security principles and practices. Experience with hybrid cloud environments and multi-site network setups. Familiarity with scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python) is a plus.

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills. Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with teams/departments and third-party consultants. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
