As a

Business Intelligence Analyst,

you will be responsible for understanding and supporting the information needs of business and clinical stakeholders. You will develop solutions that directly enable them to save and heal more lives. You will join a small Business Analytics team with the opportunity to impact all functional areas of the organization, including clinical, operations, regulatory compliance, and finance.

Responsibilities include: Maintains an excellent working knowledge of all databases associated with internal and external applications and software systems. Understands each team and works directly with those teams to fine-tune requirements/scope for various projects. Develops customized reports, dashboards, and queries from databases to extract and collect data according to organizational need. Collaborates with internal departments to ensure the validity and accuracy of data reports. Automates the delivery of real-time alerts. Expands and maintains a centralized data warehouse that integrates internal and external data sources and serves as the primary source for the organization's analytics solutions. Prioritizes, manages, and tracks technical projects using third-party project management software. Analyzes data and makes recommendations to the organization. Determines appropriate data display methods and offers automated solutions when suitable. Analyzes and optimizes existing queries, reports, and dashboards to improve efficiency. Interacts with end users, as needed, to explain data in a meaningful way. Tracks and logs all data requests in project management software. Estimates project completion times appropriately. Communicates changes in completion timelines to the appropriate team members to ensure continuity of business is not negatively impacted. Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in business, informatics, computer science, or equivalent is required. Ability to write SQL required. Experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools required. We are looking for a candidate who can listen to a clinical team's data requirements, ask questions, and build data visualizations in Power BI to help that team make good decisions.

Required knowledge, skills and abilities:

Basic understanding of dimensional modeling and data warehousing concepts. Ability to write SQL. Experience building data visualizations with Power BI or similar BI tool. Experience with the Microsoft BI technology stack is preferred but not required (Azure, SQL Server, T-SQL, SSMS, Power BI, Power Apps, Power Query, Power Automate). Capable of designing and building reports/dashboards that accurately convey information and help teams make good business decisions. Capable of learning the basics of how an Organ Procurement Organization works and how each team at Indiana Donor Network operates. An ability to meet with leaders and clinical staff to understand the data problems they have and solve them. Ability to adapt to evolving technologies and organizational needs. Ability to thrive either working collaboratively within a team environment or completely on your own. Ability to always represent the organization in a professional manner. Ability to maintain open, clear, timely, and expected channels of communication, present ideas clearly, and respond well to questions/constructive criticism. Ability to complete projects on time. The ability to shift priorities quickly and multi-task as needed. Ability to handle confidential PHI with discretion.
