Summary

This position provides administrative support to Simpson Housing Services (SHS) housing programs for families and individuals by providing a high level of customer service to participants, staff, and property managers. SHS is seeking a candidate excited about utilizing their service mindset to provide high quality contributions to a team. This position supports both Housing Support and Time Limited teams, including rental subsidy administration to approximately 90 participants. This position requires an organized, detail-oriented team player.

NOT A REMOTE POSITION. Full-time, 40 hours per week, hourly - in office position. *After 90 day probation period, there is possibility for some remote hours: Employees working in administrative positions are required to work a minimum of 60% (24 hours per week) in the office.

Responsibilities

Support rental subsidy administration:

Understand and comply with program requirements for rental assistance administration for time limited housing programs, including HUD and FHPAP. Ensure completion of all required documentation for rental subsidy administration. Complete financial calculations for new move ins, recertifications, and exits. Prepare rental contract materials for staff and participants in assigned housing programs Complete and send letters to property managers and participants as required Meet regularly with Program Managers and teams to coordinate rental assistance administration. Support program quality:

Monitor the Team email inbox, and triage the customer support requests Complete regular review of individual files, ensuring required rental assistance documentation is uploaded completely and accurately. Complete documentation of contact with or on behalf of participants in timely manner. Maintain client records in electronic form. Provide data entry support to staff as needed. Communicate data quality needs to Program Managers and staff. Support Housing Support Programs:

Cross-train and provide back-up support for the Housing Support Program Support Specialist Collaborate with Operations Support Team to process bills, rents, recertifications and missing County income for Housing Support programs Provide administrative assistance for MNITS billing with Finance Dept Demonstrate essential knowledge, abilities, and skills:

Ability to work very well independently, with excellent skills in teamwork and collaboration Knowledge of Harm Reduction/Housing First Model and commitment to that model Commitment to working toward an anti-racist culture both within Simpson Housing Services and the broader community. Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a similar field is required. Strong attention to detail Experience with Microsoft Excel and Adobe Pro Must share in Simpson's values and program philosophy Desired:

Experience in rental subsidy administration. Knowledge of Rapid Rehousing and Housing Support program models
