We are looking for an experienced Construction Senior Estimator with a highlighted focus on large commercial (light industrial) projects to join their team in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in estimating ground-up projects. Description The Senior Estimator works to prepare estimates and proposals for conceptual projects Complete assigned project estimates on established deadlines and priorities. Prepare clear and effective proposals for review by the Lead Estimator for assigned projects according to standard processes. Assist in performing value engineering of new or alternate materials, means and methods of construction. Assist in soliciting or qualifying and qualify proposals from suppliers and/or subcontractors; participate in the procurement process, as directed Provide estimating assistance with Change Orders, as required. Profile Minimum 8+ years of experience with a general contractor Bachelor's degree in construction field required Experience leading and assisting on large commercial and light industrial construction projects Positive attitude & able to effectively communicate Success driven Exemplifies good leadership qualities and characteristics Knowledge of budgeting, scheduling, materials, and local subcontractors Previous mentorship experience is a strong plus Job Offer $108,000 - $162,000
