You will work alongside attorneys involved in medical malpractice defense, representing hospitals, and board review for nurses and physicians.If you're passionate about making a difference in the healthcare industry through litigation, we would love to hear from you. The ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience in healthcare law and litigation. You will be asked to work onsite 1-2 days/week in our Boulder office.Responsibilities: Representing healthcare professionals including nurses, physicians, and hospitals in legal proceedings. Analyzing and preparing legal documents, pleadings, and discovery. Conducting pretrial depositions of medical professionals, experts, and other parties. Conducting extensive legal research and analysis on various healthcare-related laws and regulations. Developing case strategies based on the analysis of facts, laws, and prior case outcomes. Collaborating with a team of attorneys to ensure the best representation for our clients. Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of healthcare laws, regulations, and industry trends. Providing legal advice to healthcare professionals regarding potential liabilities and legal issues.Qualifications: A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. A minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare litigation. Active membership in the Colorado State Bar. Proven experience representing nurses, physicians, and/or hospitals in legal proceedings. Strong understanding of healthcare laws, regulations, and industry trends. Outstanding research, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to handle high-pressure situations and meet strict deadlines. High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.Interested in hearing more?
