The Recovery and Resolution Planning Governance and Reporting (RRP) VP is a role that reports into the Head of RRP Governance and Reporting. A successful candidate will have strategic leadership experience in supporting Recovery and Resolution planning initiatives and execution of business-as-usual activities. The individual will be able to manage Steering committees, governance forums, and develop Executive presentations. The role will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, and monitoring of governance forums.
Responsibilities:
Lead the design, roll-out, and governance forums.
Develop and maintain governance reporting, including Board reports.
Manage regulatory communications and ensure alignment with target state priorities.
Ensure Governance forums are in compliance with the firm's Governance policy.
Participate in formulating and setting strategic direction for the process, organization, and architecture covering Finance across Citi businesses, products, functions, and locations.
Assist in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance.
Play a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and standards for global Finance processes.
Participate in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory, and market information needs into finance processes and applications.
Act as a strategic professional who advises on directional strategy by analyzing subject matter and its application in own job and the business.
Act as a technical expert who advises on significant business/product decisions.
Implement policies and procedures.
Perform other duties and functions as assigned.
Operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy.
Act as SME to senior stakeholders and/or other team members.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry highly preferred.
Experience managing governance forums and leading Steering committees.
Capital and Liquidity management experience.
Experience managing policy and procedures.
Program and Project management experience.
Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide and influence others.
Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a complex and dynamic environment.
Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the absence of detailed instructions.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel and PowerPoint.
CFA preferred.
Education:
Bachelor's degree, potentially Master's degree.
