What's the Position?
We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our newly formed Engagement Team. This role is pivotal in crafting user experiences that keep our members engaged, satisfied, and returning for more. You will focus on designing engagement strategies and features that drive retention, promote user adoption, and ensure seamless integration across our digital sportsbook and casino platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design for Engagement:
Develop innovative, user-centered features that foster long-term engagement and loyalty within our digital product ecosystem. Enhance User Journeys:
Strategically craft features like reward systems, personalized content, and retention strategies to encourage continued user interaction. Optimize
the User Experience: Design intuitive and visually compelling interfaces that support seamless user navigation and interaction. Data-Driven Design:
Use analytics and user feedback to continuously refine and optimize designs for engagement and retention. Collaborate Cross-Functionally:
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to align design solutions with business goals and user needs. Innovate and Experiment:
Stay ahead of emerging trends in digital engagement and identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate our platform. Prototype and Test:
Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to visualize product concepts and gather actionable feedback. What Are We Looking For?
UI/UX Design Expertise:
5+ years of experience designing and delivering successful digital products, particularly with a focus on engagement, retention, and user satisfaction. Strong Design Skills:
Proven ability to create user-friendly, visually appealing, and innovative interfaces. Deep UX Knowledge:
Expertise in UX principles, research, and best practices for digital products. Engagement Experience:
Familiarity with designing features like achievements, progress trackers, reward systems, or personalized content. Collaborative Mindset:
Strong communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams. Proficiency
with Design Tools: Experience using tools like Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping software. Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to handle uncertainty, adapt to changes, and deliver results independently or as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications (Optional):
Background in Interaction Design, HCI, and/or Cognitive Psychology. Experience in industries with a focus on user engagement, such as e-commerce, media, or SaaS platforms. Startup mindset and ability to work efficiently with limited resources Experience integrating gamification mechanics (e.g., achievements, streaks, progress trackers, or rewards) into non-gaming products to drive engagement and retention. Examples could include e-learning platforms like Duolingo, fitness apps, or other consumer-focused digital products.
