We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trust & Estates Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to work on complex and high-profile matters. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive legal advice on a range of trust and estate matters, including estate planning, trust administration, and litigation. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and benefits package, along with opportunities for career advancement.
Responsibilities:
As a Trust & Estates Litigation Attorney, your responsibilities will include:
1. Representing clients in all aspects of trust and estate litigation, including will contests, trust disputes, claims of undue influence, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and other related issues. 2. Providing comprehensive estate planning services to clients, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other related documents. 3. Advising clients on trust administration matters, including the interpretation of trust provisions, trustee duties and responsibilities, and beneficiary rights. 4. Conducting legal research and analysis on complex trust and estate issues. 5. Representing clients before probate and superior courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution proceedings. 6. Collaborating with other attorneys, paralegals, and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services. 7. Staying abreast of developments in trust and estate law and incorporating such knowledge into client services.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Trust & Estates Litigation Attorney position will possess the following qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate (JD) degree from an accredited law school. 2. Admission to the state bar and in good standing. 3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in trust and estate litigation. 4. Demonstrated experience in estate planning and trust administration. 5. Exceptional analytical, research, and writing skills. 6. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills. 7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals. 8. High level of professionalism and adherence to strict ethical standards. 9. Ability to manage multiple cases with varying deadlines. 10. Proficiency in legal research tools and software.
