Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging - CT Technologist Job Specialty: CT Technologist Job Duration: Not specified Shift: Nights, Full Time Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current full certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT) Certifications: Approved CPR certification; ARRT and Fluoroscopy permit to be obtained within 6 months of hire Must-Have: Intelligent and self-motivated; excellent communication and critical thinking skills; problem-solving techniques Job Description: - Perform imaging procedures at a technical level without direct supervision. - Conduct all general diagnostic radiographic exams and CT exams. - Operate CT and X-ray equipment, and prepare and administer contrast media. - Perform intravenous contrast injections and prepare patient rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications. - Responsible for quality control and enforcement of core values, ethical standards, and policies. - Support and contribute to the service excellence mission of the Radiology Department. - Demonstrate thorough knowledge of human structure and function, cross-sectional anatomy, patient care, positioning, and principles of radiographic exposure. - Ensure quality assurance, radiation physics, radiation protection, radiobiology, and specialized techniques as required for a radiologic and CT technologist.
