SUMMARY: We are looking for a Warehouse Specialist to join the Baker Electric team! As a Warehouse Specialist, you will assist in a variety of warehouse duties, including unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling warehouse requests, maintaining yard cleanliness, and overall warehouse organization. This is a non-union opportunity with Baker Electric in our Los Angeles region. As a team, you will help to ensure the warehouse successfully supports the field projects timely and accurately.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for receiving trucks and unloading tools, equipment, and trash.
- Responsible for proper storage and inventory accuracy of material and supplies stored at the warehouse.
- Stock warehouse with tools and materials in proper locations.
- Fulfill warehouse requests from field Foreman and stage in proper location.
- Support Shipping and Receiving team with checking in merchandise and applying request labels as requested.
- Inspect all orders for damage and missing items.
- Forward all incoming material delivery paperwork to Assistant Warehouse Supervisor for processing.
- Maintain secured, clean, and organized storage areas in the warehouse at all times.
- Provide back-up driving/delivery support as requested.
EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION:
- 2+ years of warehouse operations experience (picking/packing/staging/inventory)
- Construction experience is a plus
- High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Reliable and predictable attendance is required
- Forklift experience preferred

PAY TRANSPARENCY:
The starting salary for this opportunity range is listed. Other rewards may include annual bonus eligibility based on company and individual performance, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards.
