The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all warehouse manufacturing operations, including receiving, shipping, material handling, organization, and inventory control. In addition, this position ensures that accurate and complete accounting, reporting, and internal control systems function and that all relevant records are properly maintained.

Primary Job Responsibilities

  1. Supervision and management of warehouse & inventory supervisors and staff
  2. Supervise the accurate receipt of all arriving goods
  3. Compile and issue required reports, including inventory, dead stock, goods age, consumption
  4. Monitor the quantity and quality of commodities stored
  5. Carry out regular physical random warehouse checks of commodities and inventory
  6. Maintain housekeeping of the warehouse and surrounding area
  7. Assess the availability of space and prepare stacking/storage plans prior to commodities' arrival
  8. Work closely with Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sales/Marketing to ensure material and services are provided in a timely, orderly and cost-effective manner
  9. Direct the Shipping and Receiving department to ensure timely, accurate, and documented delivery and receipt of materials/product
  10. Communicate proactively with leadership on materials issues that may impact the ability to meet shipping schedules
  11. Establish proper stock levels to meet desired customer service needs and company policies
  12. Manage, in coordination with Operations, all transactions related to materials availability and open order accuracy
  13. Establish proper kitting cycle process to all manufacturing areas
  14. Provide adequate and accurate accounting of all inventory items for which Supply Chain is responsible
  15. Maintain equipment training and maintenance logs
  16. Work to ensure and maintain compliance with safety, operational, and regulatory standards of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management (EMS), and Occupational Health & Safety Association (OHSA)

Job Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree and/or 3-5 years experience in Supply Chain, Inventory, and Warehouse Management in a manufacturing environment
  2. Familiarity with ISO 9001 Standards, Lean Manufacturing and Logistics principles
  3. Proficient in analysis and design of supply chain solutions with strong information systems orientation
  4. Solid computer skills in MS Office, Outlook, and SAP a plus
