The KYA Group is hiring: Warehouse Manager in Bakersfield

Seeking a Warehouse Manager to join our amazing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the warehouse and ensure timely deliveries, proper inventory control along with equipment and fleet maintenance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Lead a team of warehouse associates and maintain company culture in the warehouse.
2. Manage inventory control by proper receiving and picking procedures and monthly physical counts.
3. Maintain fleet and equipment maintenance.
4. Ensure timely delivery and demolition pick up by working with Project Coordinator and Project Managers.
5. Purchase material for sundries stock levels.
6. Maintain storage area by organizing floor space.
7. Engage in opportunities to grow job and company knowledge by participating in educational events.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be capable of interpreting documents such as measure sheets and procedure manuals, writing reports and correspondences, and speaking effectively before groups of customers and/or employees.

Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumferences, and volume, and apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Must be a good communicator and be able to work in a team environment.
