Overview

Responsibilities
- Responsible for personnel activities of direct reports including staffing, training, performance evaluations, and career development.
- Provide team leadership consistent with company vision and values.
- Effectively communicate department expectations.
- Ensure Inventory Control, Receiving, Shipping, and General Receiving Inspection are running efficiently.
- Control inventory accuracy by managing cycle count schedule.
- Maintain physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts.
- Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget.
- Manage multiple warehouse locations.
- Update SOP/QSP owned by the Materials department as needed.
- Attend and provide guidance in CAPA meetings associated with the Materials department.
- Provide a safe and productive work environment by ensuring all safety standards are met.
- Reconciliation/researching of inventory discrepancies.
- Support and comply with the company Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
- Read, understand, and follow work instructions and standard work.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years providing direct supervision to materials personnel.
- Minimum of 5 years' Forklift experience and certified forklift driver.
- Experience with training others to drive forklift and preferably certified Train the Trainer.
- Minimum of 5 years ERP experience.
- Ability to manage a team and work well as part of a team.
- Ability to analyze information, including reports.
- Experience managing multiple warehouse locations.
- Knowledge pertaining to FDA, GMP, and ISO regulations.
- Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and prioritize tasks.
