Greendale is one of Catalent’s gummy technology development and manufacturing facilities in North America. The site manufactures organic and vegan-based nutraceuticals via confection to enhance wellness for all consumers. Simply put – we make healthy gummies.
The Role
- Hire, train, and evaluate employees to work productively with a high sense of professionalism, urgency, and orientation towards positive customer service.
- Monitor employee attendance and productivity, providing counseling to employees as needed.
- Coordinate inventory transfer from multiple warehouses to support production at both production facilities.
- Develop accurate, consistent enhancements to the inventory reporting structure.
- Run a series of inventory reports on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis.
- Establish a solid system of cycle counting.
- Prepare and conduct inventory cycle counts and report findings.
- Other duties as assigned.
The Candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in warehousing/logistics functions in a manufacturing environment.
- Five (5) years of supervisory experience.
- Thorough understanding of receiving, inventory, and material handling procedures.
- Working knowledge of warehousing and inventory control processes.
- Demonstrable leadership experience at Catalent (including but not limited to participation in Catalent-sponsored leadership programs such as NGGL, GOLD, LEAD now, GM Excellence, and GROW) may be considered in place of external experience.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds.
