Labor One is currently hiring Structural Welders in San Diego, CA at a Shipyard.

$160 per diem, if eligible.

Job Requirements:

Three years of experience in steel welding and flux core arc welding processes. Proficient in flat, vertical, overhead, and horizontal welding. Ceramic Tape experience is required.

Must comprehend written and verbal instructions (in English).

Must be able to hear warning signals, read and comprehend safety instructions, regulations, and warnings.

Must pass a background check, vision test, and drug test.

Must be able to work any shift and overtime, if required.

Test:

FCAW

Fillet weld plates:

1. 2F 3F 4F (VT test)

1. 2G 3G 4G (VT and UT test)

1. 1G 2G 3G (VT and UT test)

1. Wraps 2F 3F 36” in length
2. Diagonal 3F 4F 36” in length
3. In and out corners 2F 4F 6”
4. Water tight collar
5. Air arc fillet welds (VT testing)
