Electronic Hardware Engineer

Our Client has an exciting and important opportunity for the right person to join their Intelligent HVAC Systems engineering and product development team to design and commercialize their own unique, purpose-built HVAC systems as an Electronic Hardware Engineer. This is a hands-on and highly visible opportunity in a rapidly growing and evolving company with lots of room to grow! They are seeking a person with at least 5 years demonstrated experience with designing and testing of complex electronic systems such as embedded devices, wireless devices, and power electronics systems.

Major Areas of Responsibility:

1. Support design and development of electronic control hardware for HVAC systems
2. Build prototypes, modify, test, and troubleshoot as needed the electronic hardware and associated HVAC system, components, and instruments.
3. Support design and development of electronic circuit boards including selection of appropriate electronic components
4. Support HVAC system build up, modifications, and testing
5. Utilize typical electrical test equipment to analyze and troubleshoot board and system level electrical issues
6. Ensure all designs, tests, and development activities are well documented
7. Develop procedures and manuals as necessary
8. Support and/or solve electronics packaging issues including electrical isolation, sealing, thermal management, interconnection, electromagnetic interference (EMI)
