Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking to add a Staff Electronics Engineer – Hardware Lead to join our team in Rancho Bernando, CA. This position will be in our Avionics Integration Organization.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

1. Leading and developing a team of hardware and infrastructure engineers through technology development, execution, integration, and deployment.
2. Leading technical discussions in datacenter and IT system infrastructure development while working with Software development and other stakeholders.
3. Managing the Infrastructure Jira project, executing scrums, sprint plans, and priority deconfliction.
4. Ensuring technical breadth across the technology stack in the datacenter/IT system.
5. Managing staffing and content delivery plans between multiple business areas.
6. Planning release content across multiple IFCs based on program milestones with technical content.
7. Working with Product Owner to groom backlog, prioritize content, and execute work based on milestones and technical needs.

The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility. There is no remote/hybrid/telework available for this position. This role requires the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics) discipline and 12 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master’s degree in a STEM discipline and 10 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline with 7 years of related engineering experience.
2. Experience with systems engineering practices.
3. Experience with Microsoft Visio and other Office products to express engineering documentation.
4. Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP/PAR) prior to the commencement of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Current Special Program Access.
2. Experience as a lead, functional, and/or Cost Account Manager.
3. Knowledge of Cisco UCS Compute, NetApp ONTAP/StorageGrid, Cisco Nexus Networks, VMware virtualization (vSphere, NSX-T, Horizon, vRealize, and vCloud Foundation).
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.

Salary Range: $171,000 - $256,400

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
