Summary
The main responsibility of the Telephone Recruiter is to conduct recruitment for an ongoing medication adherence study. She/He will make recruitment calls to prospective participants to encourage them to participate in the clinical study on medication adherence; will administer prescreening surveys to interested persons to determine eligibility and schedule screening visits with the clinical research coordinator. The recruiter will help the study team identify and implement strategies to increase recruitment and support student research assistants to engage in recruitment activities for the study. She/He will manage databases of potential participants and recruitment calls.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Proficient in various software programs (including database management [e.g. REDCap], spreadsheets [e.g. Excel], and word processing [e.g. Word]).
- Highly detail-oriented and organized.
- Excellent work ethic.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed.
Required Education and/or Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in public health or related area
- Experience with study recruitment
- Experience with clinical research experience
- Clerical experience
Compensation Information
