Junior Recruiter Job at Blue Sky Innovators, Inc in Reston

Key Responsibilities:

• Candidate Sourcing: Use a variety of tools (e.g., LinkedIn, Seekout, job boards, social media) to identify qualified candidates for open positions.
• Screening & Interviewing: Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications, fit, and interest in the role.
• Job Posting: Write and post job advertisements on job boards and company websites.
• Applicant Tracking: Maintain and update our Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to ensure candidate records are accurate and up to date.
• Collaboration: Work closely with hiring managers to understand the talent needs for each project or contract.
• Networking: Attend job fairs, career events, and networking events to build a pipeline of candidates.
• Compliance: Ensure all recruiting activities comply with federal regulations, especially as they pertain to government contracts (e.g., EEO, OFCCP).
• Provide additional HR support as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Willingness to learn
• 1+ years of experience in recruitment, sales, project management, customer service or related fields.
• Due to the nature of the position, you must be a US Citizen and have the ability to obtain a security clearance.
• Some familiarity with aspects of recruitment processes, including screening, and interviewing preferred.

Compensation: Specific compensation will be determined by several factors including experience, education, skills, and knowledge. We also offer medical/dental/vision benefits and 401k contribution.
