Job Summary:

The Orthodontic Doctor Recruiter, also known as the Orthodontist Talent Acquisition Specialist, will join our amazing team of Talent Acquisition experts. This person will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end recruitment process for orthodontist positions to ensure alignment with organizational objectives. This role involves implementing innovative sourcing methods to attract highly qualified orthodontist professionals while adhering to company policies and legal requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement recruitment strategies tailored to attract orthodontist candidates to achieve visibility and appeal to top talent.
  2. Proactively source orthodontist candidates through diverse channels like industry networks, dental schools, professional associations, and online platforms.
  3. Conduct screening, interviews, assessments, and manage reference and background checks for orthodontist candidates.
  4. Collaborate with hiring managers and practice leaders to comprehend specific requirements, candidate profiles, and recruitment goals.
  5. Present employment offers clearly outlining benefits, compensation, and contractual terms to orthodontist candidates.
  6. Cultivate and sustain relationships with orthodontic programs and residency directors to establish candidate pipelines for the future.
  7. Collaborate with the marketing department to enhance recruitment branding targeted at orthodontists.
  8. Utilize an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to track candidate activity and generate regular recruitment progress reports for stakeholders.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends, salary standards, and licensing prerequisites to offer guidance and ensure competitiveness in orthodontist recruitment.
  10. Represent the organization at relevant career fairs, professional events, and community networking occasions for orthodontists.
  11. Ensure compliance with all federal and state employment regulations as well as company policies.

Position Requirements:

  1. Experience: A minimum of 2 years of recruitment experience within the dental industry.
  2. Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of the orthodontic profession and familiarity with credentialing and licensing processes.
    • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
    • Outstanding communication skills, including effective phone and email correspondence.
    • Proficiency in ATS systems and basic reporting tools (e.g., Word, Excel).
    • Capability to handle multiple priorities and establish robust relationships with candidates and internal teams.
  3. Flexibility: Willingness to make calls or attend meetings in different time zones as needed.
