Job Description
The HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of Altium's corporate HR Team. They will support various HR functional groups to help create a positive workplace experience for our employees, as well as a positive onboarding experience for both new hires and hiring managers. This role will help to drive success across strategic corporate HR initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to various HR functional teams.
- Respond to employee inquiries and provide timely assistance and follow through.
- Enforce HR procedures and help employees navigate company policies.
- Assist with timecard review and adjustments for hourly employees.
- Process employee terminations and coordinate offboarding tasks.
- Assist the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment efforts and scheduling candidate interviews.
- Process new hires and complete employment eligibility documentation in a timely manner.
- Coordinate onboarding process for new hires and facilitate orientation.
- Maintain employee records and process changes in company HRIS (Workday).
- Perform various tasks within Workday, including reviewing and updating job profiles.
- Run reports in Workday and provide data to internal partners as requested.
- Assist in creating and updating presentations on key HR metrics and performance for Altium's Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders.
- Handle invoices for the HR department.
- Assist with ad-hoc HR projects as needed.
Required Education and Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources
- Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable presenting to small groups
- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- HRIS Experience (Workday strongly preferred)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- SHRM CP or equivalent certification
