Job Description

The HR Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day functions of Altium's corporate HR Team. They will support various HR functional groups to help create a positive workplace experience for our employees, as well as a positive onboarding experience for both new hires and hiring managers. This role will help to drive success across strategic corporate HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  1. Provide administrative support to various HR functional teams.
  2. Respond to employee inquiries and provide timely assistance and follow through.
  3. Enforce HR procedures and help employees navigate company policies.
  4. Assist with timecard review and adjustments for hourly employees.
  5. Process employee terminations and coordinate offboarding tasks.
  6. Assist the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment efforts and scheduling candidate interviews.
  7. Process new hires and complete employment eligibility documentation in a timely manner.
  8. Coordinate onboarding process for new hires and facilitate orientation.
  9. Maintain employee records and process changes in company HRIS (Workday).
  10. Perform various tasks within Workday, including reviewing and updating job profiles.
  11. Run reports in Workday and provide data to internal partners as requested.
  12. Assist in creating and updating presentations on key HR metrics and performance for Altium's Senior Leadership Team and other stakeholders.
  13. Handle invoices for the HR department.
  14. Assist with ad-hoc HR projects as needed.

Required Education and Experience

  • 2-3 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Strong knowledge of HR processes and best practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable presenting to small groups
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • HRIS Experience (Workday strongly preferred)
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality

Preferred Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
  • SHRM CP or equivalent certification
