Job Details

Works to align business objectives with employees and management in designated business units and acts as consultant on human resources' matters. The HR Business Partner (HRBP) is a trusted partner who provides HR guidance and employee relations subject matter guidance to divisional leadership, managers, and employees in promoting and fostering a fair, positive, and collaborative working environment. In collaboration with divisional management, HR leadership, and HR Centers of Excellence (COEs), the HRBP contributes to the implementation and management of HR and employee and labor relations strategies, philosophies, processes, and programs to ensure the achievement of divisional and enterprise wide-initiatives.

Job Description

  1. Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
  2. Resolves employee relations matters within designated business units, serving as an employee advocate and change agent to support organizational goals and objectives.
  3. In conjunction with management, COEs, and HR leadership, provides expertise and consultation in the application of HR policies, processes, programs, and initiatives within their business unit/department to monitor impact and effectiveness and promote a fair, positive, and collaborative working environment.
  4. Works collaboratively with management, COEs, and HR leadership to effectively manage and mitigate risk by ensuring HR compliance and consistency in the administration and delivery of HR services.
  5. Objectively resolves employee relations matters within a Just Culture framework through the completion of investigations, data collection, and corroboration of facts; provides recommendations for resolution within their business unit to ensure consistent monitoring of the effectiveness of all HR policies, practices, and processes.
  6. Maintains knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws/regulations; the Jefferson Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior.

Education:

Bachelors Degree Required + 5 years of experience in HR.
