HR Personnel Services is hiring: Sr. HR Generalist in Alhambra

Our client in the Healthcare industry is in need of a well-rounded Sr. HR Generalist to help them make process improvements and create efficiencies for a public company with 500 employees. An ideal candidate will be proactive by nature and highly skilled in day-to-day HR functions.

Job Responsibilities

1. Consult with partners on retention efforts, general employee relations concerns, performance management, terminations, team-building, complaint/conflict resolution, and career development
2. Conduct new hire orientations and lead new hire integration activities
3. Serve as a benefits point-of-contact by responding to questions and educating employees on company benefit programs
4. Manage leaves of absence, including FMLA, CFRA, PDL, and workers’ compensation
5. Manage various HR processes, including classification changes, salary reviews, performance reviews, etc.
6. Develop, coordinate, and facilitate multiple training programs
7. Provide recruiting support for administrative and business roles throughout the company

Job Requirements

1. Bachelor’s (or Master’s degree) in Human Resources or related field
2. 5+ years of recent HR generalist experience
3. Knowledge of federal and state labor and employment law
4. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and HRIS systems
5. Strong interpersonal skills, including verbal communication, presentation, and relationship building
6. Excellent organization and follow-through skills as well as the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with limited daily supervision
7. Ability and desire to work collaboratively with team members within the company to meet goals
8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and provide excellent internal and external client service
9. PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP strongly preferred
