Job Summary:
The Sr. Director, Human Resources Strategy & Operations is responsible for implementing, scaling, and improving people strategy programs designed to support business goals while providing oversight for and management of all operational functions for Human Resources. Furthermore, this role will understand overall people trends, challenges, and opportunities and implement solutions that increase engagement, strengthen the effectiveness of our managers, and reduce unhealthy turnover, thus creating the most productive and satisfying work experiences for our people across the world.
Job Expectations:
- Partners closely with CHRO and Global HR leadership team and HR Business Partners to optimize HR strategy, operations processes, and programs
- Provides coaching and support to HR Business Partners to ensure alignment and bridge duties for all locations
- Manage and report on the performance of the global HR organization; set stretch performance objectives for team members and hold them accountable for achieving these; inspire high levels of impact.
- Partner and advisor to our leaders and proactively diagnose and communicate trends around their people and teams (i.e., engagement, development, retention, collaboration) and lead the development of solutions to address them - with the goal of supporting their business goals through a people lens
- Develop HR frameworks and tools, ensuring that these meet business needs, align with internal programs and practices, and comply with external requirements
- Acts as a coach to management on team member performance, employee relations issues and other team member management programs
- In partnership with the Total Rewards and our Talent Management teams, lead the execution of activities within the employee lifecycle for all global locations - including performance management, merit and bonus planning, promotions and internal transfers and exits/terminations.
- Demonstrate discretion and professionalism when working with leadership team on sensitive business and organizational issues, manage ambiguity, and propose workable solutions to challenging problems
- Ensure strict adherence to all applicable employment laws and regulations, including but not limited to labor relations, equal opportunity, safety, and data privacy. Develop and implement robust compliance programs to mitigate risks and maintain legal compliance.
- Support with a variety of HR related initiatives including but not limited to cultural innovations, flexible work schedules, telecommuting, work from home program resulting from work environment changes

Equipment Knowledge:
- Experience with Workday HRIS strongly preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Business Suite (Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Forms) preferred
Experience Requirements:
- Generally requires a minimum of ten (10) years of Global Human Resources experience with multi-disciplinary knowledge of Human Resources systems, employment law, technology and processes; six to eight (6-8) years of progressive leadership experience
- At least past 5 years' experience working for a public company.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience.
