Overview
Credence is seeking a Senior Business Development professional with experience as an Account Manager and Strategic Capture Lead in support of the Department of Justice FBI, ATF, DEA, BOP, and USMS. We are looking to expand our current business by supporting the DOJ - FBI and its future needs. The successful candidate will understand how to win and close business and must have demonstrated success supporting DOJ with winning strategies to grow business.

Responsibilities
- Plan and execute sales activities to meet aggressive new business growth goals by proactively uncovering sales opportunities with targeted prospects within the FBI.
- Possess at least five years of successful experience selling systems, services, and solutions to the Federal Government and specifically the FBI.
- Be experienced with the Federal Acquisition process and regulations, comfortable in all aspects of the full sales cycle, with excellent prospecting skills and a strong ability to establish new business networks.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to work independently with little or no direct supervision.
- Conduct office client calls and briefings with the DOJ - FBI leadership and program management teams, focusing on AI, DevOps, Cyber, and Cloud technology.
- Identify, qualify, and support the capture of new business within the DOJ and maintain a 3+ year sales pipeline of qualified business opportunities.
- Support the development and implementation plan for the FBI.
- Quickly build personal, in-depth knowledge of Credence’s capabilities to leverage, design, and execute creative growth strategies for client deployment and engagements.
- Bridge existing business relationships with other industry partners to facilitate teaming and maintain awareness of the competitive market.
- Cultivate a partnership that offers an entrepreneurial environment with the infrastructure and backing of a large firm to expand offerings and engage new clients within the DOJ.
Education, Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
- US Citizenship is required with the ability to obtain Clearance.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Deep understanding of Federal trends with the ability to drive positive change following industry perspectives via the latest solutions.
- Proven track record of driving growth at the DOJ - FBI with customer intimacy and understanding of technology spending.
- Ability to understand complex content and relate it to industry trends, client needs, and service offerings.
- Comfortable in a highly technical and engineering-focused business.
- Career stability with long tenures at past employers, demonstrating increased responsibilities.
- Experience working in both large and small businesses, comfortable with the full life cycle of BD-Capture-Proposals-Delivery, and effective in an unstructured environment.
Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
Job may require the employee to be:
- Required to travel up to 25%.
- Required to move equipment up to 25 lbs as needed.
